Our Fathers,

even children can see
past
new
emperor’s
clothes
past
repeated
sins
pointed
past
even children can see

How the mighty fall

watch the dismemberment of democracy
stand
by
curious
apathy
stand
up
citizens
don’t
watch the dismemberment of democracy

Lie down

a lie repeated becomes
truth
through
elastic
lips
truth
like
concrete
corrupted
truth
becomes a lie repeated
